Winter is here and it's still a great time to get outside and enjoy the scenes of our beautiful city. Join us for a soul-nourishing afternoon of movement, mindfulness, and meaningful connection as we gather for a Conscious Women’s Hike in The Presidio Park in San Francisco. We'll explore Ecology Trail and Lover's Lane, picturesque parts of this majestic part of the city with plenty of Monterey Pines to take in that fresh, crisp winter air. This unique experience is designed for women walking the path of self-awareness who are seeking deeper connection with others and nature.

The Presidio is a historic, 1,500-acre national park site at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge. This trail is a popular 1.9-mile urban loop trail with a bit of forest scenery. We will travel through densely wooded areas, open areas with views, past art installations, and inspiration point, a beautiful view of the city. We’ll stop partway through our hike for a guided meditation and a moment of connection. Feel free to bring something to sit on (like a towel or blanket) and any snacks you may want to share.
Parking Information: There is street parking and this location is accessible by public transportation.
Parking location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/fPVMs4J96KKQq2wL8
Hiking Level: moderate, there are some stair and paved roads.
Hiking Time: About 1.5 hours
What to Bring: Water, comfortable sturdy walking/hiking shoes, layers to prepare for Bay Area weather, journal, and an open heart. Bring snacks to share for a light mid-afternoon picnic. I will bring a few snacks to share for our halfway point stop. We'll stop at the halfway point for a brief guided meditation and a group connection experience.
While the organizer, Keegan is guiding this experience, she is not the expert in hiking or this trail, this hike is collaborative and is more about connection with nature and each other. This is a hike at your own risk event and take care of each other. We look out for each other and take care of each other along the way, but most importantly, take good care of yourself first. That means knowing your own limits, taking breaks, bringing water to stay hydrated.
